My Moroccan Influence

This house in the Atlas mountains in Morocco is so dreamy. Take note of my influences, such as the coral pink walls, mixed with cream curtains. This blend is sensational. (Take a look at my own house to see the correlation). Lanterns are key to assemble this setting. My favourite part is the arched doorways that have been cut especially to create a tented atmosphere. Animal hides are traditional in the Bedouin tribe so this links nicely.

I am totally MAD about shells. Check out these magnificent creatures! Go to Linda Fenwick Design if you want anything Shell-Interior Design related! These are panels that are being placed either side of my fireplace in my kitchen and they go so well with my paint choice. These are traditional in style; look how she has incorporated ‘swags and tails’ in her piece. These are not for you to miss. IMG_1958.jpg

From my lace curtains, to egg shells, intricate designs show class, style and perfection. Intricacy is all about the detail and the finer things in life. Trimmings such as my lace curtains from Anthropologie are gorgeous; you should go and fine some yourself. Their collection is phenomenal. These egg shells are perfect christmas-tree decorations. The egg holds the resemblance of the cycle of life and these beautiful ornate shells can be hung high.
